My Journey

I began training at the National Elite Sports School in Thurgau at 12. While there I planned trips to tournaments which helped me cultivate independence and develop into a versatile, all-around player. That enabled me to win international tournaments in Basel, Oberentfelden and Cairo and contend with top European players at the European Championships.

Every season during college, I played four matches a week for three months which limited the number of pro tournaments I was able to compete in. Still my progress as a player is clear, demonstrated by my victory over a WTA top 200 player. This achievement gives me the confidence in my skill set that I achieve my goal to compete in Grand Slam tournaments.

I have benefited from going to the United States and playing collegiate tennis because of the access to incredible facilities where I can train hard while also staying healthy. University engages my inquisitive mind and serves as a complement to the physical rigors of tennis, including conditioning and weight training. This mental engagement not only fosters creativity but also enhances my ability to problem-solve and stay mentally sharp during matches.
